Vengeance. Redemption. Murder. This epic Biblical movie brings to life one of early Christianity's most notable figures Saul of Tarsus. As a dedicated leader, Saul fights to defend his faith and traditions - his fanatical behaviour reaching its climax when he organizes a brutal scheme to rid Judea of anyone who follows Christ, earning him the title Butcher of Tarsus. While on a mission, Saul is blinded, forced to re-evaluate his beliefs and transformed by the forgiveness of a woman. But joining the Christian ranks has deadly consequences as Saul must escape his former allies who want him to pay the ultimate price for his betrayal....death.
SPECIAL GUEST - Brent Crawford
Brent Crawford is a Canadian born actor and musician. Before his start in acting Brent was a founding member and drummer in the popular 80's progressive rock band Tibet. Brent has gone from stage to screen and back again.
His film and television career has included roles alonside such actors as Stuart Townsend, Winona Ryder, Barry Pepper, Eric Peterson, Yannick Bisson, Callum Blue and many more. Having been cast in mostly darker and edgier dramatic roles, Brent has recently been working in comedic film and television.
Brent landed the lead role in a new comedy selected by the Toronto International Short Film Festival "Nice is Cool" by director Benjamin Petrie. His most recent comedic performance can be seen in high rotation in a new national television ad campaign for Nestea.
SPECIAL GUEST - Brittany Bristow
Brittany Bristow is a Toronto born actress. At the age of six she declared to her parents, after appearing in a commercial that she wanted to be an actress and do it forever. It was always apparent that her life would involve performing. By the age of twelve, she had appeared in numerous commercials, guest stared in TV shows and stared in movies along side Rachel McAdams, Christopher Plummer and Kirstie Alley.
It was at twelve years old that she was accepted into Canada's National Ballet School's professional, fulltime training program. She spent the next six years training but upon her last year at NBS, it became apparent that the acting world was calling her back.
Her dance training led her to star in a number of projects including the lead in the film Sophie and Sheba in which she was able to utilize her ballet and stand toe to toe with actors Deborah Kara-Unger and John Rhys-Davis.
Brittany can be seen in the upcoming series Wildlife Quest, which she co-wrote, co-produced and hosted.
SPECIAL GUEST - Tashi Bieler
Tashi Bieler is Vice President of Production at Entertainment One and as such, some of her credits include: Bitten, Haven (Producer), The Firm (Supervising Producer), Call Me Fitz (Producer), Goodnight for Justice (Supervising Producer), The Don Cherry Story, Shattered and The Bridge. During her twenty years in the business, and prior to coming to eOne Tashi produced both feature films and television, including such shows as Celine, Siblings, Moon Palace, The Associates and The 11th Hour.
