When old friends Charlotte and Jessica run into each other in the street, they are thrilled to catch up and make plans for a dinner party with their husbands. Unfortunately, once the dinner begins, the two men have less in common, with wealthy alpha male Victor sharing his provocative theories and boasting about expensive clothes to Sam, who bristles at his host’s pomposity and wishes to leave as soon as possible. At first, small inconveniences like a lost phone and a blocked car keep the foursome reluctantly together, but as they discover deeper hidden connections in their pasts, things quickly begin to unravel.
