Vera and Wolf Küper live in Berlin with their 5-year-old daughter Nina and their one-year-old son Simon. Vera takes care of the household and has a part-time job, while Wolf works as an advisor to the UN, raising awareness about the global climate crisis. The stressful, not exactly family-friendly schedule puts increasing strain on the Küpers. When Nina is diagnosed with a fine motor and coordination disorder, however, the family is suddenly shaken from its routine.
