Ole Christian Madsen

Ole Christian Madsen was born in Denmark in 1966. Graduating in Direction from the National Film School of Denmark in 1993, Madsen was part of the 'Golden Cohort' which included Thomas Vinterberg and Per Fly. Madsen has written and directed a growing number of award winning films, including Sinan's Wedding (Sinans Bryllup - 1997) and Pizza King (1999). In 2001, he wrote and directed the award sweeping dogma film Kira's Reason - A Love Story (En Kærlighedshistorie) and in 2005 directed the award-winning and critically acclaimed Angels in Fast Motion (Nordkraft).
